I first arrived in Dubai on August 17, 2018. A very memorable date. Exactly a month earlier I had received The Golden Call - meaning, I was selected to become a cabin crew for the biggest airline carrier in the Middle East, whose base is in Dubai. To be honest, I had never before thought that I would ever visit Dubai in my life let alone live there (I never knew I would become travel blogger either!).Somehow, it felt very foreign to me and not my place at all. But, expect the unexpected. On that memorable date I found myself in the Emirate at 45 degree heat. And my journey began.

Dubai is the most populated Emirate and is famous for its lavishness, luxury shopping, ultramodern futuristic architecture and an intense nightlife. There are two parts - old and new Dubai. At the old one you can get a taste of what it looked like before Burj Khalifa. Dubai was established all the way back in 1833 and since then it has become one of the cultural, tourism, trade and financial hubs of the world. Burj Khalifa - the pride and joy of Dubai - rules the skyline with its impressive 830-meter height. At its feet lies The Dubai Fountain - a one of a kind fairy water show with a unique combination of water, music and dance.
